Our vitamin D does not contain lanolin which is extracted from sheep's wool, we have deliberately chosen Boreal Lichen, a mushroom from which vitamin D3 can also be extracted.

What is the difference between Vitamin D2 and D3?

Vitamin D3 (= Cholecalciferol) is more assimilable than Vitamin D2 (= Ergocalciferol).

How is it different from prescription ampoules?

Most often the doctor will also prescribe Cholecalciferol but in a larger dosage to be taken at once.
